Thirty-one other rooms let Josh Cameron slide, and the Bengals were the ones holding the card at the Round 7 slot. Highway robbery. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.
Every board in the league had Nwokobia lower, and that gap is the story. The tight end spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 10th pick they get a blindside protector at fair value. A real need, handled.
No edge and no loss on Zion Young in pick 41; it is a wash and a sensible one. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
A tidy little value on Dontay Corleone in Round 3, Pick 8, a step better than break-even. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
