GUARD RANKINGS 2027 NFL DRAFT

This is the weakest guard class we have graded. The first guard on our 2027 board falls further down it than in any of the previous six years, and none reaches the top thirty-two.

That is a comment on the ceiling rather than on the players. Miami's Samson Okunlola, a five-star who waited three seasons for a role, allowed four pressures all year across a sixteen-game College Football Playoff run and finished it without conceding a pressure in the wins over Ohio State and Ole Miss. Ohio State's Luke Montgomery started fourteen games at left guard for second-team All-Big Ten honours and drew two penalties across 837 snaps. Iowa's Kade Pieper walked into the right guard job and finished his first season of starts as a first-team All-American on the Joe Moore Award-winning line.

All three project as dependable starters. What this class does not have is a guard anyone will spend an early pick on.
