QUARTERBACK RANKINGS 2024 NFL DRAFT

The 2024 Quarterback class looks to be even better than the 2023 class is led by USC's Caleb Williams, who despite standing just 6-1 currently is looking like not only the top quarterback prospect but the likely top player in the entire draft. He was outstanding at Oklahoma in 2021 before his move to USC where he bagged the Heisman Trophy after a huge sophomore season. His dynamism operating outside the pocket, coupled with his huge stat totals, have drawn quite justified comparisons to Patrick Mahomes.

North Carolina’s Drake Maye unlike Williams has the protypical size you look for in a pro QB. He excels within the pocket and put up a huge 4321 yds through the air in 2022. Not only is he a threat as a passer, but he's also a formidable runner - making 899 rushing yards. If any QB class in this year's class can dethrone Williams, it's Maye.

Michael Penix Jr. from Washington is a stand-out for his precision passing. With the most passing yards among Power Five quarterbacks in 2022, Penix showed impressive care of the ball, posting one of the lowest turnover-worthy play rates. However, he'll need to prove he can stay healthy, something he's struggled to do so far. Texas’ Quinn Ewers had a rocky first season as a starter, despite being a five-star recruit. He's got phenomenal arm talent, however, he's the rawest of the QB group but could have the greatest upside. If he can tighten up his game, he could be joining the top tier of this quarterback class.
