The rest of the league will want that one back. Ollie Gordon II tumbling to the Texans in the 241st pick is a gift they did not have to think twice about. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.
They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. They left with running back solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 25th overall pick they get a home-run threat at receiver. The biggest hole, addressed.
Tyler Warren at pick 58 is money in the bank, a tight end taken below his worth. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Donovan Jackson at No. 89 nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Andrew Mukuba in pick No. 126 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. A minor need, but a need all the same.
The board fumbled Sonny Styles all the way to the 165th pick, and they scooped it up. Nice player, but the depth chart did not need him here.
