You can hear the double-takes from here. The Texans took Thor Griffith at pick No. 167, roughly 142 spots before his name belonged. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.
The Walker pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. A whole weekend of picks and running back is somehow still a want.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the running back spot they never got to.
Pick-by-Pick
In No. 25 they get a difference-maker at receiver at a price that makes it sweeter. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Tyler Booker in Round 2, Pick 26 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
