When a board-topper like Xavier Nwankpa slides to the 235th pick, you do not overthink it, and the Texans did not. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through running back. Job largely done: interior defensive lineman settled and 3 of 8 of the wish list covered. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick 19 they get a wrecking ball inside at fair value. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Tyler Booker at the 53rd overall pick is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
