The Texans put a flag in the ground for Thor Griffith, 66 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit.
On value alone, Bowman Jr. makes the weekend a net positive. The running back spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but running back.
Pick-by-Pick
In the Round 1 slot they get a disruptive interior force, outstanding value to boot. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Taking Tyler Warren in slot 58 is close to grand larceny; a tight end that good had no business lasting this long. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
