You could see the war room lean forward. Bhayshul Tuten at the 241st pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.
A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. Running back is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick 25 they get a run-stuffing presence up front at fair value. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Tyler Warren in the Round 2 slot is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Jalen Royals at the 89th overall pick is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Luke Kandra slipping to the 126th pick is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Lathan Ransom at pick No. 165 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. A minor itch, scratched.
Bhayshul Tuten in No. 241 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
