The rest of the league will want that one back. Bhayshul Tuten tumbling to the Texans in the Round 7 slot is a gift they did not have to think twice about. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.
A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. Job largely done: running back settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
Pick-by-Pick
In No. 25 they get a run-stuffing presence up front. Exactly the need they had to hit.
A top-tier offensive lineman at a bargain, Tyler Booker in slot 58, plain and simple. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
They will replay Harold Fannin Jr. at pick 89 for years; that is how good the value is. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Steal is underselling it; Jack Bech at the 126th overall pick is a heist with the alarm still ringing. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
A safety of that caliber at Round 5, Pick 28 is the definition of value, full stop. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Somehow Bhayshul Tuten was still sitting there in the Round 7 slot, and they pounced on premier running back value. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
