The board owed the Texans one, and it paid up: Nicholas Singleton, the No. 101 name on the board, sitting there at pick 235 like a gift left on the doorstep.
Every board in the league had Nwankpa lower, and that gap is the story. They punted on wide receiver, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
