Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Texans were there to profit. Elijah Arroyo, the No. 78 name on the board, should have been long gone before No. 127.
The running back hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but running back.

Tyler Booker at slot 58 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. The roster fit checks out.
They robbed the room for Matthew Golden here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Elijah Arroyo at the 127th pick is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Jackson Slater in Round 5, Pick 28 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Jordan Hancock in pick 243 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
