You could see the war room lean forward. Jalon Walker at No. 89 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.
Every board in the league had Griffith lower, and that gap is the story. A whole weekend of picks and running back is somehow still a want.
Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Somehow Robert Spears-Jennings was still sitting there in pick No. 167, and they pounced on premier safety value. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
