You could see the war room lean forward. Barrett Carter at Round 5, Pick 28 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. The bottom line is a respectable B.
The Griffith pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. Leaving running back unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
The skill positions did well by the weekend.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.

Barrett Carter in pick 165 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
This one needs a full-page explanation: Thor Griffith in the Round 7 slot, miles early. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
