The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Texans watched Cam Skattebo slide 130 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.
The Alexander reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The roster is better shaped than it was, with running back chief among the fixes.
The skill positions did well by the weekend.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.

In No. 25 they get a go-to option on the outside. The biggest hole, addressed.
Somehow Tyler Warren was still sitting there in pick No. 58, and they pounced on premier tight end value. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
