The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Sonny Styles, Round 5, Pick 28, roughly 44 picks past where he belonged. Good, not great, and the B says as much.
The Griffith pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. A whole weekend of picks and running back is somehow still a want.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 25th pick they get a wrecking ball inside at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
Tyler Warren in slot 58 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
They paid sticker price for Tez Johnson in the Round 3 slot, and that is fine. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Luke Kandra in pick 126 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Sonny Styles in the 165th overall pick is a gift, value that borders on unfair. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
This one needs a full-page explanation: Thor Griffith in No. 241, miles early. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
