If confidence were a draft strategy, the Texans would have aced it. Thor Griffith at pick No. 243 is 67 spots clear of where he belonged. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.
The Williams value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. They punted on running back, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
