When a board-topper like Smael Mondon Jr. slides to Round 7, Pick 23, you do not overthink it, and the Texans did not. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.
Capehart has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They will regret leaving running back for another day if the season turns on it.
Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered. The skill positions did well by the weekend.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the running back spot they never got to.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick No. 19 they get a weapon on the perimeter, outstanding value to boot. Exactly the need they had to hit.
