Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Thor Griffith at pick No. 243 is 67 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline.
That Bowman Jr. pick is the receipt they will wave around later. They will regret leaving running back for another day if the season turns on it. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the running back spot they never got to.
Pick-by-Pick
In slot 25 they get a security blanket over the middle, and a steal at that. A clean fit for the roster.
