The board owed the Texans one, and it paid up: Devin Neal, the No. 84 name on the board, sitting there at the 241st pick like a gift left on the doorstep.
That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Running back was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
