The Texans spent real capital to be 67 picks early on Thor Griffith, and the board is going to hold them to it. More right than wrong, and a B to match.
That Phillips pick is the receipt they will wave around later. That running back hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered.
Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but running back.

They let Tyler Warren come to them and pounced at Round 1, Pick 25. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Steal is underselling it; Nick Emmanwori at the 58th pick is a heist with the alarm still ringing. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
