Thirty-one other rooms let JJ Pegues slide, and the Texans were the ones holding the card at the Round 7 slot. Highway robbery. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.
A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. They are betting Jackson proves the room right and everyone else wrong. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with running back the one that mattered most.
They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
