The tape said wait; the Dolphins did not. Beaux Limmer went at pick No. 87, a good 57 picks before the board was ready.
Landing Clark that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it.
The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.
Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
