The rest of the league will want that one back. Johnny Wilson tumbling to the Chiefs in the 158th pick is a gift they did not have to think twice about. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.
For all the activity, offensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. If Ceaser pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. The skill positions did well by the weekend.
Good work on the whole, with offensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
In slot 32 they get a matchup problem out wide, outstanding value to boot. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Adonai Mitchell at No. 64 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
A tidy bit of business in the 95th pick, where DJ James graded well above the range. A minor need, but a need all the same.
A reach on Nelson Ceaser in pick 133; the board had better options right there. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Steal is underselling it; Johnny Wilson at pick No. 158 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Jaheim Bell slid further than he should have, and the Round 5 slot is lovely value for the tight end. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
