You can hear the double-takes from here. The Dolphins took Justin Rogers at pick No. 158, roughly 35 spots before his name belonged. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.
The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.

In slot 23 they get a matchup problem out wide at fair value. Exactly the need they had to hit.
The board had cheaper options than Cooper Beebe at pick 55, and it noticed. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Braelon Allen at the 86th pick is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
A real head-scratcher, Justin Rogers in the 158th overall pick is miles ahead of his ranking. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Drake Nugent at the Round 6 slot is an overdraft of the loud, memorable kind. It fills a real need, too.
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Ethan Driskell. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
