After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Giants committed. Jayden Daniels is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.
Every board in the league had Jefferson lower, and that gap is the story. For all the activity, safety went untouched, which is hard to explain. They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made.
Wes Schweitzer gives the group a proven body among the projects.
Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.

In Round 1, Pick 7 they get a passer to set the clock by at fair value.
In slot 28 they get a potential shutdown corner at fair value. A clean fit for the roster.
