The Xavier Thomas selection is the head-turner. The Commanders reached 97 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. They executed a plan and it shows in the A.

On value alone, Wright makes the weekend a net positive. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend.

A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want.

It is a haul that will look even better come September.
