Somebody in pick No. 257 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Broncos sat still while Kaden Wetjen, the No. 223 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.
They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. The Randall pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.
The Alvin Kamara deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.
A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.

Circle this one: Eli Stowers at No. 73 is a fall that decides a draft. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Domonique Orange in the Round 4 slot should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
They let Jalon Kilgore come to them and pounced at pick No. 111. It adds depth where they could use a little.
A premium they did not need to pay, Chris McClellan a notch or two before his time. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Jack Kelly at pick 246 is a conviction pick that outran the value. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
A wild overpay on Adam Randall in slot 256, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Kaden Wetjen at the 257th pick is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. A need, and now a little less of one.
