Nobody else had Caden Curry anywhere near pick 64. The Seahawks did, by 66 spots, and that gap is the whole story. Fine in stretches, shaky in others: a C.
They punted on wide receiver, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. They reloaded the coverage unit in bulk.
The verdict is a shrug for now, with the swing picks left to write the real ending.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 32nd overall pick they get a sticky cover corner, even if it was a touch early.
Caden Curry at Round 2, Pick 32 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Zxavian Harris well ahead of where he belonged. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
They went early on Pat Coogan in pick 188, and the value did not follow. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
