The Packers did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Smael Mondon Jr. fell into pick 196.
The Presley reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Running back is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.
Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
