After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Patriots committed. Jayden Daniels is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. A mixed bag that lands at C-.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. If one pick saves this weekend, it is McGlothern. The Watson pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster.

Not a disaster, not a triumph, just a middling class.
