The Chargers looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Edefuan Ulofoshio at the 105th overall pick regardless, 54 picks early. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.
They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Trice falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.
Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.

In the 5th pick they get a true top target at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
A tidy bit of business in pick No. 37, where Bralen Trice graded well above the range. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
They left a pile of value on the table to take TreVeyon Henderson this early at the Round 3 slot. The roster fit checks out.
This one needs a full-page explanation: Edefuan Ulofoshio in the 105th overall pick, miles early. A minor itch, scratched.
Value said wait; Cedric Johnson in pick 142 says they were not listening. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
