The Packers treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending Round 4, Pick 35 on Drake Nugent a full 28 spots early.

The Packers indulged a want in Smith while a need in quarterback stayed open. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The Nesbit pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
