This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Zakhari Franklin, the No. 214 name on the board, stolen at Round 7, Pick 28. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

They will need Williams to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Spending an early pick on linebacker with interior defensive lineman, quarterback and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Job largely done: cornerback settled and 6 of 9 of the wish list covered.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
