The war room fell hard for Chase Lundt, and it showed at pick No. 104: 62 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas.
That is a running back worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. For all the activity, wide receiver went untouched, which is hard to explain.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.

In No. 4 they get a double-digit-sack hope. Exactly the need they had to hit.
A straight-up fair deal on Tyler Warren at pick No. 38, value and slot in agreement. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
No drama and no debate, Deone Walker went about where he belonged in Round 3, Pick 5. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
They barely believed it either: Xavier Watts still on the board at slot 77. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
They left a pile of value on the table to take Chase Lundt this early at the Round 4 slot. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
