This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: M.J. Devonshire, the No. 190 name on the board, stolen at slot 241. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.
Reaching for Bills left real value on the table behind him. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick No. 28 they get a building block for the line at fair value. A clean fit for the roster.
Braden Fiske in No. 57 is fair value, right on his grade. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Ricky Pearsall in Round 2, Pick 28 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
