The Broncos torched the value chart for Adam Randall, taking him 26 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman. However the rest shakes out, Bell at that price is a win they earned.
Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
The board had Gennings Dunker higher than the Round 2 slot, and the offensive lineman fell to them anyway. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Circle this one: Skyler Bell at pick No. 108 is a fall that decides a draft. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Jonah Coleman in No. 111 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Travis Burke at pick 170 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
A tidy bit of business in the 246th pick, where Thaddeus Dixon graded well above the range. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Jack Kelly at the 256th overall pick jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
They talked themselves into Adam Randall at the Round 7 slot, and the board did not agree. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
