The Broncos looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Adam Randall at Round 7, Pick 19 regardless, 48 picks early. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.
If one pick saves this weekend, it is Stribling. They punted on linebacker, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
Good work on the whole, with linebacker the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
A tight end of that caliber at the 81st overall pick is the definition of value, full stop. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Circle this one: Jadarian Price at No. 83 is a fall that decides a draft. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Darrell Jackson Jr. at pick 108 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
A tidy bit of business in the 111th pick, where Devin Moore graded well above the range. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
A conviction pick on Oscar Delp at pick No. 124 that the board grades a round light. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
De'Zhaun Stribling at the Round 4 slot is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
