The cost of the Wingo reach is exactly the players who went right after him. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback.

Pick-by-Pick
Zach Frazier at No. 55 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
They liked Brandon Dorlus enough to skip the value, taking him in the 71st overall pick. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
A wild overpay on Mekhi Wingo in pick No. 91, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Zak Zinter in the 95th pick is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Steal is underselling it; Khyree Jackson at the Round 4 slot is a heist with the alarm still ringing. A minor need, but a need all the same.
They paid a round early for Cedric Gray in Round 4, Pick 12, more than the board wanted. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
James Williams in pick 125 is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. A minor itch, scratched.
Ben Sinnott in No. 131 is fair value, right on his grade. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.

A real head-scratcher, Josh Proctor in slot 197 is miles ahead of his ranking. They doubled down on a strength rather than a need.
