There is a lot to like until you notice quarterback is still a hole. The Dolphins never got to the one that mattered most. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.
The Smith value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. They went 3 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
Pick-by-Pick
In slot 21 they get a bendy edge with upside. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Kingsley Suamataia in the 74th pick lands just on the right side of the ledger. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
