Somewhere a general manager is explaining how A.J. Haulcy got past him. The Chargers do not have to explain a thing at Round 3, Pick 22. A weekend of give and take that grades a C.
The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. The cost of the Jackson reach is exactly the players who went right after him.
It grades out a shrug today, with plenty of room to move either way.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 25th pick they get a blindside protector. A real need, handled.
Value with a capital V on Caleb Banks in slot 55, a genuine coup. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
