Start where it matters. The Commanders took Drake Maye to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one.

The Johnson pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. That is an offensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 7 of 8 of the wish list covered.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
