Miami Dolphins

A sensible, unshowy class lands the Dolphins a B.

The one they had to fix is still broken. The Dolphins left quarterback untouched, and that omission hangs over an otherwise reasonable haul. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

The Wiggins value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly. The Colson pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Pick-by-Pick

R1.30 · Pick 30 · Nate Wiggins · CB · rank 15
In the 30th pick they get a lockdown presence outside, outstanding value to boot.
R2.21 · Pick 53 · Kiran Amegadjie · OT · rank 52
Kiran Amegadjie in Round 2, Pick 21 is fair value, right on his grade. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
R2.30 · Pick 62 · Junior Colson · LB · rank 71
Junior Colson in No. 62 is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
R5.19 · Pick 155 · Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint · WR · rank 148
Good price on Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint in slot 155, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
