Best value of the weekend goes to the Eagles for Milton III: B+.

The trade table was a mismatch, and the Eagles were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. It does the job without flash, and the B+ reflects it.
However the rest shakes out, Milton III at that price is a win they earned. They punted on wide receiver, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Kneeland pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.
The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.
Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
Pick-by-Pick
Terrion Arnold at the 27th pick is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
They paid sticker price for Jeremiah Trotter Jr. in Round 2, Pick 27, and that is fine. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
They paid up for Marshawn Kneeland at pick 97 when waiting would have done the job. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
They took Javion Cohen at par in No. 137, which is nothing to complain about. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Malik Mustapha at pick No. 156 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Taking Joe Milton III in slot 172 is close to grand larceny; a quarterback that good had no business lasting this long. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Nothing to complain about; Demani Richardson went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
