The board owed the Texans one, and it paid up: Kingsley Suamataia, the No. 53 name on the board, sitting there at Round 4, Pick 23 like a gift left on the doorstep.
For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. They left with running back solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.

In No. 23 they get a matchup problem out wide, outstanding value to boot. The biggest hole, addressed.

BJ Mayes at pick No. 248 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. They added to a strength when a need was still open elsewhere.
