The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Packers watched Mason McCormick slide 28 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.
Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
Pick-by-Pick
In Round 1, Pick 25 they get a run-stuffing presence up front at fair value. A clean fit for the roster.
Chop Robinson in No. 41 lands just on the right side of the ledger. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Nothing to complain about; Kingsley Suamataia went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. It fills a real need, too.
