The Cardinals went off the board in a big way for Nick Nash, 92 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another.
However the rest shakes out, Campbell at that price is a win they earned. A whole weekend of picks and wide receiver is somehow still a want.
Good work on the whole, with wide receiver the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
In Round 1, Pick 16 they get a long-term starter on the line. Exactly the need they had to hit.
A reach for Trey Amos in the 47th pick; a little patience would have been rewarded. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Jihaad Campbell in slot 78 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. It fills a real need, too.
Shemar Turner at No. 114 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. A need, and now a little less of one.
Nick Nash at the 148th overall pick is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
