For all the boxes ticked, the Cardinals skipped the loudest one: quarterback is exactly as bare as it was.
They left with linebacker solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.
Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 16th overall pick they get a sideline-to-sideline linebacker. A real need, handled.
No edge and no loss on Trey Amos in pick 47; it is a wash and a sensible one. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
