After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Patriots committed. Drake Maye is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B+.
They are betting Lindberg proves the room right and everyone else wrong. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast.
The Jordan pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
