Green Bay Packers
Nobody dealt better than the Packers this weekend: B.

The Packers put a flag in the ground for Frank Crum, 39 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit.
The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
Landing Wilson that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.
Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick No. 25 they get a sticky cover corner. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Edgerrin Cooper in the 46th pick is fair value, right on his grade. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Value said wait; Max Melton in slot 58 says they were not listening. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
No drama and no debate, Dominick Puni went about where he belonged in the Round 3 slot. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
No edge and no loss on Gabriel Murphy in the 91st overall pick; it is a wash and a sensible one. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
They left a pile of value on the table to take Mason McCormick this early at No. 126. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Johnny Wilson at pick 138 is money in the bank, a wide receiver taken below his worth. It fills a real need, too.
Ty'Ron Hopper in pick No. 169 is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. It is more luxury than necessity; they were already set here.
They reached a country mile for Dominique Hampton at the 202nd pick, and the board is aghast. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Frank Gore Jr. at the 219th overall pick is right where the board had him, plain and simple. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
They paid a round early for Ryan Watts in No. 245, more than the board wanted. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Frank Crum well ahead of where he belonged. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
