They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Darius Robinson, 26 picks early at the 95th overall pick.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through tight end. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but tight end.
Pick-by-Pick
In No. 32 they get a matchup problem out wide at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
Mekhi Wingo in the Round 2 slot is exactly on the number, no argument either way. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Darius Robinson at the 95th overall pick is an overdraft of the loud, memorable kind. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
They jumped the gun on Malik Mustapha, taking him earlier than his grade liked. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Braelon Allen at Round 5, Pick 22 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. A need, and now a little less of one.
Roger Rosengarten in slot 172 is fair value, right on his grade. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
They went early on Kenny Logan Jr. in No. 210, and the value did not follow. Depth on depth, at a spot that was hardly crying out.
A reach for Kedon Slovis in pick No. 250; a little patience would have been rewarded. The roster fit checks out.
